The Funeral Directors Convention and Expo, hosted annually by the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association, is almost here!

Registration opens Thursday, May 1, 2025, and will be available online at a discounted price until Monday, August 5, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.

Full-price registration will be available online from Tuesday, August 6, 2025, until preregistration closes on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Can’t commit early? Onsite registration will be available.

Registration Options

All Access Pass – With this registration option, attendees can earn elective CEUs, network and shop with vendors on the Exhibit Hall floor (including a cocktail reception, lunch, coffee, and refreshments) and socialize with other funeral professionals at a variety of gatherings. You will also receive perks like a drink ticket for the Tuesday night Funeral Directors Round-Up at its new location, Center Bar. Don’t forget to experience Wednesday’s nine-hole mini golf course in the Exhibit Hall for additional complimentary fun!

Single Day Pass* – This registration option gives you the flexibility to attend all Convention programming on the day of your choice.  You can earn elective CEUs, walk the Exhibit Hall (Tuesday/Wednesday only), network with funeral professionals and experience one or more of our featured events. Register in advance and choose your day upon arrival.

Student and Intern Day Pass** – This registration option is just for students and interns and only available for Wednesday, September 17. This special curated Student and Intern Day Pass allows registrants to experience an education offering, Service of Remembrance, mini golf in the Exhibit Hall, brand new Mortuary School Olympics and more.

* Convention programming is dependent on the day you choose to attend. Tuesday and Wednesday are the only days available for this selection.

** This pass is for Wednesday, September 17 only – it is not transferrable to Tuesday, September 16.

Join us for our first late-night Convention Party!

The Boardwalk Bayou at The Balcony – Add the Convention party ticket to your registration and join us Wednesday, September 17 from 10:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at The Balcony, featuring live entertainment from The Ocean Avenue Stompers of Asbury Park, New Jersey. This ten-piece brass band brings the sounds of New Orleans jazz with classic southern tunes and renditions of modern music reminiscent of sounds from the Big Easy.

2025 Cancellation Policy

If you register for the Convention and are unable to attend, you have from:

• Thursday, May 1 through Tuesday, September 2, 2025, to cancel and receive a refund minus a $50 cancellation fee.
• Wednesday, September 3 through Thursday, September 18, 2025, to cancel and receive a 50 percent refund.
• Thursday, September 18 IS THE LAST DAY you can request a cancellation and receive a refund.
